ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROJECT
College Louis Joseph Janvier
Carrefour, Haiti
We believe that year round music education positively impacts the lives of young students in Haiti. For this reason, XA has based their first Music Center in Carrefour, Haiti, just south of the capital, Port-au- Prince. There, we partner with the 200 student College Louis Joseph Janvier School which is incorporating our music program in the curriculum. Once fully operational, XA plans to expand its program to other selected Haitian schools.

At each location, XA will offer music studio facilities, instruments, teachers, activities/performances and food distribution as a complete package. Increasing donor support for our Adopt MUSIC project means XA will greatly expand music education to many more deserving students in Haiti.
INSTRUMENT DISTRIBUTION
ANNUAL MISSION TRIP
Experience Ayiti enables resources and experiences so that Haitian students will continue the countries’ rich musical and cultural traditions. XA organizes an annual trip to bring music educators to teach students in many local communities. For each trip, XA gathers donated instruments in the USA to distribute to promising students who have limited access to a wide range of instruments. These ‘gifts of music’ allow young musicians to fully explore their talents. We plan soon to make monthly teacher engagements a reality.

We seek instrument donations and monetary contributions year round.

sispan grangou
During our launching trip in 2016, we raised over $4000 through direct fundraising, which helped us feed over 500 people in Carrefour, Léogane, and Jacmel. We wish to continue to donate food, medical aid, and other necessary services for the communities we serve during our annual mission trip or whenever we host a music workshop/program.
