We are so excited to partner with the Mingus Big Band next month to raise money and awareness for Experience Ayiti. We will be collecting instruments and donations every Monday night at the Jazz Standard in October.
We will also have limited edition merchandise available for purchase with proceeds going to XA come see one of the best big bands in the world and support a great cause!

Experience Ayiti enables resources and experiences so that Haitian students will continue the countries’ rich musical and cultural traditions. XA organizes an annual trip to bring music educators to teach students in many local communities. For each trip, XA gathers donated instruments in the USA to distribute to promising students who have limited access to a wide range of instruments. These ‘gifts of music’ allow young musicians to fully explore their talents. We plan soon to make monthly teacher engagements a reality.
We seek instrument donations and monetary contributions year round.
